The first exam is on Thursday, November 15. Calculators are allowed,
as is a single sheet (both sides) of notes. The exam covers Sections
9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.4, 10.1, 10.2, and 10.3.
There is a practice exam, made up of problems I have given on exams
before that will be handed out in class on Tuesday. Solutions will be
available on the web site.
There will be a make-up exam for exam 1 on Tuesday, November 27 from
4-5 in Washburn 229. Here
