Text blocks in Maple worksheets

Maple worksheets are probably the most convenient way to write up lab reports, because you can mix text and Maple commands and output. When Maple starts up, by default it begins with an Input region, where you can enter a Maple command. To change an Input region to a Text region, click on the Input button and select the Text item on the menu that pops up. You can also use this button to change a Text region to a Input region.

To end a Text region and start a new Input region, go to the Edit menu and select Insert Separator Line to insert a separator and then choose Insert Prompt from the Edit menu to begin the new Input region.
