Stability

In order to determine whether the process was stable, we plotted the times versus the order in which they were obtained in each group. Figure 2 is such a plot with the times for all six groups. Different plotting symbols distinguish the groups as indicated in Table 1. Looking at the overall pattern, or at each group separately, we see no evidence that the process is unstable.
