MPI 2013 Problems

The following four problems were studied at MPI 2013:

• Phase Field Formulation for Microstructure Evolution in Oxide Ceramics (Leslie Button, Corning, Inc., Corning, NY)

• Characterization of Porous Media Using a Geometric Depiction of Fibrous Materials (Sumanth Swaminathan, W. L. Gore, Newark, DE)

• Changes in Capture Efficiency Due to Folding (Mark Hurwitz, Yueyang Shen, Matt Lucey, Pall, Cortland, NY)

• CFD Modeling of Abrasive-Fluid Jet–for Precision Machining of Most Materials from Macro to Micro Scales (Peter H.-T. Liu, OMAX, Kent, WA)
